february 9 - presenting
today, i presented my first project in this class. it was a cool experience. i explained how i chose each back ground and my history of guitar playing. i was very proud of how i did the shading under the old beat up cot in the first image. i also described the old beat up guiatr and amp. i like the first image better than the second one because it actually required me to use the paint tool to draw certain items. such as the blood stains and the day count scratches on the walls. i hope i have as much fun on the second project as i did on this one.

i finally finished my project. what it is is a metaphor about my guitar playing skills. for the first one i chose to create an empty room with an old cot and very tiny amp and guitar. the second image had a giant stage with about eight differnt full stack amplifiers and twelve different gibson les pauls. it took me a very long time to complete but i think i did i pretty good job considering it was my first photoshop project ever.

january 29 - images
on this day i learned how to upload different images on adobe photoshop. with this tool i can artistically alter each image to my liking. during this class i began to understand the "layers" concept of this program. what i was confused about during the last class is pretty much all cleared up because of this one. im looking forward to starting this project because now i feel i know alot more about photoshop, at least alot more than i knew before.

on this day i started to learn how to use photoshop. this is the main program being used for this class. for the most part i feel it is a little bit confusing but i think it will one day be an extremely useful tool. I hope to use alot of what i learned on this day to complete my first project for this class.
